The pow() method returns the result of the first argument raised to the power of the second argument.



Java Math sqrt()



The sqrt() method returns the square root of the specified number.

The ceil() method returns the smallest integer that is greater than or equal to the argument. That is, the value 3.24 will be rounded to 4.0 which is equal to integer 4.

The floor() method returns the largest integer that is less than or equal to the argument. That is, the value 3.8 will be rounded to 3.0 which is equal to integer 3.

The round() method rounds the specified value to the closest int or long value and returns it. That is, 3.87 is rounded to 4 and 3.24 is rounded to 3.

The abs() method returns the absolute value of the specified value.

The max() method returns the maximum value among the specified arguments.



Java Math min()



The min() method returns the smaller value among the specified arguments.

The random() method returns a random value that is greater than or equal to 0.0 and less than 1.0.
